Hunting Permits for
Florida Wildlife Management Areas

Appropriate hunting permits, licenses, and stamps are required by persons wishing to hunt on Florida's wildlife management areas. Hunters should obtain wildlife management area brochures for the area in which they intend to hunt to determine appropriate hunting permits and licenses needed. WMA brochures are available at county tax collectors' offices, license agents, the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission's regional offices, and www.MyFWC.com/hunting.

Hunting Florida's military bases
These military bases in Florida are open to public hunting. For information on hunting these lands, contact:

Hunting Florida's national wildlife refuges (NWR)
These national wildlife refuges in North Florida are open to public hunting These refuges are operated by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. For information on hunting these lands, contact:

  • St. Marks NWR, P.O. Box 68, St. Marks, FL 32355; (850) 925-6121.
  • St. Vincent NWR, P.O. Box 447, Apalachicola, FL 32329; (850) 653-8808.
