6 Point Buck
It was New Years Day ( 12-31-11 ) when I killed this wonderful 6 point.
I had set up a short 10-foot ladder stand over a pine row, where about 30 scrapes have been worked over the past few weeks. And to my right is thick brush where there is a creek bottom. So 2 days later, I finally had the perfect wind to hunt that stand. So I climbed in at 4:18 p.m.; and I wasn't there 7 minutes when that buck came through the creek bottom working the scrapes. So when he stopped, I took my shot. He ran about 60 yards to the creek bottom were he was bagged up. Weight-155 lbs, and was killed on Hwy 2 in Laurel Hill, Florida.
