Hunting News -
Point Washington
Wildlife Management Area

January 13, 2010 - Point Washington Food Plots

Point Washington Wildlife Management Area, Walton County, Florida

One of our alert website visitors named Glenn tipped us off to this interesting item. The Point Washington Wildlife Management Area has recently put out 18 food plots.

We contacted the Point Washington Park at (850) 267-8325, and was advised that yes, that information is correct. They were provided grant money which they used to create the food plots. They plan to put out summer food plots as well as the winter plots already created. These plots are scattered throughout the entire Wildlife Management Area. The Point Washington WMA is in southern Walton County north of Blue Mountain, Grayton, and Seagrove beaches. It is part of the 15,258-acre Point Washington State Forest.
