5 gallon bucket

by Randy
(Crawfordville, Florida)

I have discovered that a 5 gallon bucket is useful to take with you hunting. It makes a good seat and storage container. You can put extra dry clothes, bullets, matches, first aid kit, your lunch, or anything else you may need. Replace the wire handle with a rope or strap. That way the handle won’t bang against the bucket and make noise. Also make the strap or rope long enough to carry the bucket on your shoulder so that you have your hands free to tote your rifle. You can paint it camouflaged to blend in with your surroundings.

Another use

I have daughters and the bucket is used on my boat or in the woods, by putting in plastic bag, for a porta potty for #2. Then simply remove the plastic bag tie it shut and move on to hunting, fishing, etc...
